Dr Geoff Lester is a vascular physician and senior lecturer from the Alfred Hospital and Monash University. He completed his thesis on the epidemiology, economic burden and mortality of aortic disease in Australia. As a patient, board director for Hearts4Heart, member of the International Genetic Aortic Network, health economist, and public health leader, he is often asked to speak on these topics. He has helped raise $8.5m as an ambassador for the Heart Foundation and leads THINK Aorta ANZ.
