A/Prof. Laurencia Villalba is the Head of the Vascular Surgery Department in Wollongong, and the Founder of the Vascular Care Centre, she is a proud member of the court of examiners for RACS. She is also the Founder and current clinical lead for the Venous Thromboembolism service for ISLHD. She has a specialist interest in pelvic venous disorders DVT and PE. She has received awards for her research on PE management and the use of IVUS in deep venous disease as well as the Order of Phlebology Medal for excellence in the management of May-Thurner Syndrome, DVT and PE
