Mr Bayat is a Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon and clinical lead for complex venous disease at Northern Health (NH), Victoria, Australia. With the vision to create a centre of excellence for chronic venous disorders, he has helped introduce to NH pharmacomechanical thrombectomy, endovenous ablation and sclerotherapy for varicose veins, intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) for venous disease and an annual venous workshop. Mr Bayat is also one of the founders of Yarra Vascular Surgeons, a Melbourne based multidisciplinary group practice that provides vascular and related speciality care to patients in Victoria.
