Jo Gibbs is the Director and Founder of Treat Healthcare. A registered nurse, professional human services counsellor, and certified organisational coach. Jo also holds international qualifications in mindfulness training. For over a decade, Jo has developed and delivered evidence-based programs to thousands of healthcare professionals, patients, and carers. These programs have undergone extensive study, with outcomes published in peer-reviewed scientific journals. Evidence shows that Treat programs reduce burnout, enhance psychological safety, and strengthen team functioning and staff morale within healthcare settings. Jo co-created the Treat App with Harvard-affiliated clinicians, supporting healthcare workers worldwide. Treat has been recognised for its impact, named a finalist in the Victorian Minister for Health’s Award for Improving Workforce Wellbeing and Safety (2017), The Australian Public Winner in Excellence in Integrative Collaboration 2025 and most recently The Public Health Innovator of the Year - Australia 2026 award. Jo continues to deliver Treat’s programs to major organisations including the Thrombosis Research Institute in London, Beyond Blue, the Victorian Healthcare Association, and most major public hospitals in Melbourne.
