Asha Malan is a vascular surgeon and Director of BloemVascular in Bloemfontein, South Africa. She is currently the President of the Vascular Society of Southern Africa (VASSA) — the first woman to hold this position in the Society’s history. She is an Associate Professor at the University of the Free State and previously served as Head of Vascular Surgery and Acting Head of General Surgery. Her principal clinical interests include complex open and endovascular aortic surgery.
