Krist is an exercise physiologist and PhD candidate at the University of the Sunshine Coast. His research aims to facilitate the integration of patients with peripheral artery disease into existing cardiovascular rehabilitation programs. Krist is a member of the VasoActive research group, and of the QCVRN emerging leaders committee.
